1. Non-drug ultrasound therapyWhen exposed to human body, ultrasound causes microvibration in tissues and also converts acoustic (sound) energy into thermal energy. TENS – transcutaneous electrical neurostimulation STL Delta Combi device in the pulsed electrotherapy mode has a therapeutic effect on the patient’s body with a monopolar (single-phase) pulse of low voltage and low frequency electric current. This procedure blocks pain by applying impulses to sensitive points in area where electrodes are applied, without irritating motor nerves. During exposure, small contractions of skin muscles occur, which destroys substances that are chemical basis of pain.
