Ventramin®
Gastric Mucosal Bioregulator
Recommended for normalizing the function of the gastric mucosa, helping to improve and maintain gastrointestinal function.
For ulcers, gastritis, GERD, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Ventramin is a complex of proteins and nucleoproteins derived from enzyme-endocrine raw materials, whose protein composition is identical in all mammals. This protein complex has a selective effect on cells of the digestive system and promotes the acceleration of regenerative processes in the mucosa. Like all Cytamins, Ventramin, through transcytosis, specifically targets cells of the stomach and duodenum, promoting the normalization of their function.
Through transcytosis, the incoming protein reaches the target cell unchanged; in this case, the target is the cells of the stomach and duodenum. Upon reaching the mucosa of these organs, Ventramin saturates the cells with an optimal protein “diet,” allowing them to recover more quickly and normalize their protective functions.
A study of the effects of Ventramin on various gastrointestinal diseases (chronic gastritis, peptic ulcers, gastric surgery) conducted in 98 patients showed that a course of Ventramin significantly contributes to the normalization of gastric mucosal function and improves overall well-being. Ventramin treatment increased appetite, significantly reduced the severity of dyspeptic disorders (nausea, heartburn, belching). A reduction in the intensity of inflammatory changes in the gastric and duodenal mucosa and a reduction in pain were also noted.
Indications
Ventramin® helps restore normal gastric mucosal function and is indicated for various digestive disorders, such as:
– Gastritis and gastroduodenitis;
– Gastric ulcers;
– Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS);
– Consequences of poisoning and foodborne infections;
– Gastric motility disorders.
Long-term investigations performed by the research team of the Institute resulted in creating a new class of geroprotectors – peptide bioregulators. The administration of peptide bioregulators enables effective prevention of premature ageing and therapy of age-related diseases.
